This should go without saying, but there are people that still don’t quite get it. So let’s be perfectly clear:
- Do not post videos of yourself growing marijuana
- Do not post videos of your seven year old son driving
- Do not post videos of you beating the crap out of someone else
- and many more…
Of course if people were smart, they would avoid engaging in such activities in the first place. Check the Toronto Star article for the inspiration to this post.
And if you do, keep in mind that it can and will be used against you as evidence in court.
Also, if you’re a juror it’s probably not a great idea to discuss the trial on Facebook, even if your page is private, because you risk being influenced by your peers.
Vitali, sometimes – and this may seem shocking! But people are simply dumb. D-U-M-B. That’s why they do the things they do. Plain and simple (as my ex used to always say).
Omar,
Thanks for the addenda. =))
Lola,
Yes, some people can be pretty stupid. But others may be misinformed, ignorant, or have a momentary lapse in judgment. Either way, we find stories about these people and post it in the “Humour” section of this website. =)))
Vitali,
I suppose…it’s just that I find it quite difficult at how some ‘misinformed, ignorant’ people may have a ‘momentary lapse in judgment’ can be excused when it’s common sense and blatantly obvious. In any case, you’re right; it’s always a hoot to witness such cases :).
Reply To Vitali – no problem; we enjoyed the post. Sure our readers will to…
Kind regards
