German Court Bans Male Circumcision

German court sparks outrage:

According to the court ruling, “the fundamental right of the child to bodily integrity outweighs the fundamental rights of the parents.”

“The child’s body is permanently and irreparably changed by the circumcision. This change runs counter to the interests of the child, who can decide his religious affiliation himself later in life,” it said.

Never considered this issue from a legal standpoint, or even a moral one.

Technically you are causing irreparable damage to a child when you have this procedure done. It’s quite reasonable to argue that this it is not fair to take such a liberty with a non-consenting human being.
