There is No Ground Zero Mosque

Since 9/11, Muslims have been at far greater risk of terrorism in the United States than have non-Muslims.

His comment is, perhaps, a bit hyperbolic and dramatic. It may also not be entirely accurate. I could be wrong, but is the project not to include a community centre AND a mosque?

In any case, it is unfortunate that some people would answer the question “how far away should the closest mosque be to Ground Zero?” with “Karachi” or “Mars”. There are also strip clubs and legalized gambling sites within two blocks of the site. I don’t see why a mosque should be such a problem.

These Americans are very racists because they do not want to build an Islamic center. These Americans are fascists because they are against tolerance and religious freedom. All Muslims are shocked because of this racism. Muslims respect any American who supports the idea of building an Islamic center in any site in America. The American people is wonderful, so they must stand against this racism

Here’s a thought for you, Khalid: maybe the people who don’t want a mosque down the road from Ground Zero are not doing it because they are racist or fascist or whatever. Maybe they’re doing it for the same reasons the family of a murder victim wouldn’t want the murderer’s family moving in down the road.
