Killer cop seeks funds for appeal

Peter Edwards writes:

A Toronto police officer who ran up a $1.2-million legal aid bill while on trial for his mistress’s murder is now seeking taxpayer funding to appeal his conviction.

    Not to mention that Wills was a millionaire before his trial. While I am not sure of where he made his money, I believe it was in real estate. Shortly before his arrest, he gave everything to his children. One could only think it was to abuse the legal aid system.
