The government will never clamp down on the corruption in the RCMP force. The reason for that is, the RCMP have too much evidence of corruption in our governing officials.

There is no denying the corruption in Canada, it is impossible not to see. Unfortunately, once corruption sets in, it is impossible to root it out. Canadian citizens can only watch our country rot. Look at what happened in BC, that province is pretty much a hollow shell, because of corruption. That province has much of their natural resources sold to the USA, so, BC has no way to recover from the damage inflicted by Premier Gordon Campbell. The reason no one will say anything to stop corruption, is because, they are also corrupt. I find a lot of humor in, government officials being worried about the corruption in Afghanistan, when Canada can't stop the corruption in our own country.
