DGB, I'll admit that appeared to be a total non-sequitur, until I saw <a href="http://abovethelaw.com/2009/08/non-sequiturs_080509.php" rel="nofollow">this</a>.

In a decidedly unscientific poll, a couple of colleagues and I did kind of a rolling tally during the American Bar Association Business Law Section Spring Meeting held this past spring in Vancouver, BC. The female Canadian lawyers were markedly better looking and better dressed than their American counterparts. No speculation on which group was smarter or better lawyers. This was kind of an adjunct to our game of "Canadian or American."

I will also add the the Canadian law firms were wonderful hosts and did a great job in putting on the Spring meeting.
